Refund Policy

This Refund Policy describes when and how subscription fees paid to JOBolar.Ai ("Jobolar", "we", "us") may be refunded. By subscribing to or using our Services, you agree to this policy in addition to our Terms of Service and Privacy Policy.

This document is provided for informational purposes only and does not constitute legal advice. Local laws may grant you additional rights that prevail over any conflicting terms below.

1) Scope

This policy applies to all paid plans for JOBolar.Ai's email-based job application Services, including access to AI features (e.g., Chatty Buddy), and dashboard functionality. It covers initial purchases, renewals, upgrades/downgrades, and cancellations.

2) Key Definitions

  • Billing Cycle: The period covered by your subscription payment (e.g., monthly).
  • Material Use: Meaningful use of the Service, such as sending multiple job applications via Gmail or generating multiple AI documents.

3) Free Trials & Promotions

  • Trial or promotional periods may be offered from time to time. If a payment method is required, you will be charged when the trial ends unless you cancel beforehand.
  • Promotional discounts apply only to the specified term. Renewals revert to the then-current standard price unless otherwise stated.
  • Trial misuse (e.g., repeated sign‑ups) may result in immediate termination without refund.

4) Cooling‑Off & Local Rights

Residents of certain jurisdictions (e.g., EU/UK consumers under GDPR/consumer law, California residents under CCPA/CPRA, or other regions) may have statutory cooling‑off or refund rights. Where these rights apply, JOBolar will honor them in addition to the terms below.

5) Standard Refund Window (First Purchase)

  • Within 3 days of your first subscription payment, you may request a refund if you are not satisfied.
  • Eligibility may be reduced or denied if there has been material use (e.g., multiple email applications sent, substantial AI generation) demonstrating value received.
  • Refunds for subsequent renewals follow the rules in Section 6.

6) Renewals, Upgrades, Downgrades

  • Auto‑Renewal: Plans renew automatically at the end of each billing cycle unless you cancel before the renewal date.
  • Renewal Refunds: We generally do not refund renewal charges once the new cycle begins, except where required by law. Contact support promptly for consideration.
  • Upgrades: Charges are prorated only to apply the additional cost of the higher plan. Refunds are never prorated; once upgraded, fees for the billing cycle are final and non‑refundable.
  • Downgrades: Take effect at the next renewal date; no prorated or partial refunds are offered for unused time within any billing cycle, except where required by law.

7) Non‑Refundable Items

  • One‑time setup, onboarding, or custom services that have already been delivered.
  • Third‑party fees, taxes, or currency conversion charges incurred by your bank or payment processor.
  • Accounts suspended for abuse, policy violations, or fraudulent activity.
  • Substantial usage during the period (e.g., numerous email applications sent or documents generated), indicating value consumed.

8) How to Request a Refund

  1. Contact us at billing@JOBolar.Ai from your registered Gmail address.
  2. Include your full name, account email, order/transaction ID, and the reason for requesting a refund.
  3. We may request additional context (e.g., usage details) to assess eligibility.

Approved refunds are typically processed to the original payment method within 7–10 business days, subject to your bank's timelines.

9) Cancellations (Stopping Future Charges)

  • You may cancel at any time from your dashboard. Cancellation prevents future renewals; access continuesuntil the current billing period ends.
  • Deleting your account or revoking OAuth does not automatically cancel billing—please cancel your plan in the dashboard to stop future charges.
  • No proration: Cancelling in the middle of a billing period does notentitle you to a credit or refund for unused time, regardless of cycle length.

10) Disputed Charges & Chargebacks

  • If you believe a charge is incorrect, contact billing@JOBolar.Aibefore filing a chargeback. We will investigate promptly.
  • Unauthorized or fraudulent transactions will be refunded when verified. Repeated or abusive chargebacks may lead to account suspension.

11) Compliance & Exceptions

  • Where local consumer laws provide additional protections (e.g., EU/UK cooling‑off, California rights), those will apply.
  • We reserve the right to make case‑by‑case exceptions in good faith (for example, documented system outages or duplicate billing).

12) Changes to this Policy & Contact

We may update this Refund Policy to reflect changes in our Services, pricing, or applicable law. Material changes will be notified via the dashboard or email. The Effective Date above indicates the latest version.
